Vymex is a hub for working on and managing a business. Here everyone sees the company according to their role and has everything they need to work.
Instead of "assembling" a company from different services (documents, spreadsheets, Trello, Notion, ERP), Vymex provides a single logic — the logic of basic needs and project activity. Basic needs (the role structure, tasks, instructions, files, budget, hiring) are already implemented in the system, so the team spends its time on its own project activity.
The goal is companies that work more efficiently than today's norm and consistently meet their basic needs in the roles of owner and employee.
Vymex is already running at app.vymex.com — it is currently at the "Early Access" stage.
Vymex consists of products for the different roles a person has in a company. There is a single entry point — the Vymex profile — from which a person goes to the product they need.
"Messenger" is still in development. Products for other roles (investors, job seekers, etc.) are planned.
All information is organized not by folders but by roles: this way you can see who is responsible for what, who has access, and what has changed.
Most services are sets of tools (Google Workspace, Trello, Notion, ERP) from which a company has to assemble its own way of working. Vymex is not a set of tools but a ready-made company management system with a clear architecture from day one.
Key differences:
It is similar to the arrival of iOS: after activation, a person immediately has everything for their basic needs, and then adds whatever they specifically need.
For any company regardless of industry, country or legal form: the logic is built around two universal roles — owner and employee. Vymex can also be used on your own, without a team.
It is important to consider the development stage of the system itself. Vymex is currently at the "Early Access" stage (v0.6); next come "Commercial Beta" (v0.8) and "Commercial Full" (v1.0).
The company's balance of resources is everything the company has at a given moment: the role structure, people, tasks, instructions, files, inventory, money and budget, co-owner decisions, agreements and the history of changes.
This concept makes it possible to:
In Vymex, each role is responsible for its part of this balance, and changes are visible in the system immediately.
The definition Vymex recommends for understanding a company: "A company is a balance of resources distributed among roles that over time moves into new states of the balance of resources."
Basic needs are regularly recurring results that every company delivers regardless of industry. For example:
Project activity is the unique results of a specific business: product development, a marketing campaign, construction, an event, sales, and so on.
Vymex automates basic needs and frees up the team's time and attention for project activity.
The new norm of efficiency is the new baseline at which an average company operates once systems like Vymex appear. It is a shift in the standard of the entire business environment, not an improvement of individual processes.
Today's norm is more than 90% of companies closing in their first 3 years, difficult handovers, chaos in responsibility, co-owner conflicts and dependence on specific individuals.
The new norm is when:
That is how it was with the power grid, the internet and smartphones: the average level of what is possible changes.
These are estimates gathered from many studies. Nobody has precise statistics: a significant share of new companies close even before official registration, so banking and government systems simply do not see them.
Because a problem is a consequence of the norm. As long as the cause is unchanged, the problems keep coming back.
For example:
Vymex does not patch symptoms; it changes the foundation: from day one the company works in a system of roles where these symptoms do not arise. It is a harder path, but a far more effective one.
The main problem is chaos instead of a system. Most companies at the start are people, chats, tools and verbal agreements with no single point of management. Everything works as long as someone "carries" it on their shoulders.
The consequences:
This is not a people problem but a flaw in a model that does not provide for structure from day one. Vymex was created so that a company launches as a system right away.
An employee enters vHub and sees their role: the dashboard, tasks, instructions, files, inventory, the role's salary plan and income and expenses plan, and ideas in "Improvements". There is no need to search for files in chats or guess what the manager meant.
This gives:
A person does not invent how to organize their work — they create results within the structure built by the owners and managers.
The owner manages the company as a system rather than keeping it in their head. How a company meets its basic needs in the owner role at the start matters: mistakes here can destroy it in the future.
In vHold, the owner has:
A sole owner makes decisions immediately, without voting.
This makes it possible to work not "in the company" but on it, bring in co-owners and a team without losing control, and take part in several companies.
The company stops being "a collection of people and chats" and becomes a structured object that is worked with through roles, the balance of resources and system tools.
The team's thinking becomes:
The company stops running "on intuition" and starts thinking as a system where everything is recorded and handed over.
Such systems will change the very norm of how companies are organized. Today every company invents how it should work: which tools to combine, how to structure people, where to store files.
With the emergence of such systems:
This is an infrastructure shift — like the arrival of the internet or cloud technologies.
No. The principle of basic needs and project activity is universal: in every country, companies have roles, tasks, instructions, files, co-owners and results.
What is available already:
What is limited for now: the interface is only in Ukrainian (other languages will come in later stages), and payment for Vymex services is in hryvnias.
Ukraine is Vymex's country of origin, and we are launching the product with Ukrainian companies first, but the architecture has been designed for the global market from day one.
Vymex was created not for a specific industry but for the basic needs that recur in every company: roles and responsibility, tasks, instructions, files, inventory, budget, co-owner decisions.
That is why it suits service businesses (agencies, studios, consulting), product companies, manufacturing, retail, food service, educational projects, NGOs, healthcare, construction and events.
A company adds the specifics of its industry with AI module builder modules. And to see Vymex in a live example, open the "Demo company" — the restaurant Resto with 20 roles.
If you have a team, roles, responsibility and results, the industry does not matter.
Not through "motivation" or "control", but through structure and transparency. When a role has tasks, instructions, the necessary resources, a history of changes and a visible area of responsibility, a person focuses on results rather than on searching for information.
This gives:
The energy that used to go into meeting basic needs is freed up for project activity.
Vymex is already running at app.vymex.com. It is currently at the "Early Access" stage (v0.6). Next come "Commercial Beta" (v0.8) and "Commercial Full" (v1.0).
What is ready and what is planned for each stage can be seen in the "Vymex System Status" window — click the blue "Early Access" tab on the left in the system.
Sign up at app.vymex.com and click "Open demo" on the home page: you will get your own copy of the restaurant Resto with 20 roles, tasks, a budget and co-owners, and become its owner and CEO. Hints will guide you through the main screens, and "End demo" removes everything.
Your own company also starts without payment: a new company receives ₴500 in bonus funds, 50 GB of storage and 100K AI tokens.
Yes.
AI uses the company's AI tokens — a separate balance that is topped up with packages.
In Vymex the definition is: "A company is a balance of resources distributed among roles that over time moves into new states of the balance of resources."
That is, a company is not a collection of people, chats and folders, but:
This definition makes it possible to separate the person from the function, hand over a role without losing its logic, and grow without assembling the company from scratch.
A role is a place in the company structure to which responsibility, tasks, instructions, files, inventory, an income and expenses plan, salary, access rights and the history of changes are tied.
The structure has levels: the CEO role is level 1 (the company's manager), with roles of levels 2–4 below it. Each role has a managing role above it.
In Vymex, everything is tied not to a person but to a role. A person can have one or several roles in one or several companies and switch between them in vHub. In each role they see what is expected of them, what resources are available and what has already been done before them.
A role can also have no employee — then it is a vacancy to which a person is invited.
Because they follow different logics of interaction. The roles of owner and employee exist in a company from the moment it is created.
The link between them is the CEO role: the owners choose the company's manager, and the manager builds the role structure.
This split separates ownership from operational work. One person can be both an owner and an employee at the same time.
A person is a Vymex user with their own profile. A role is part of the company structure that exists regardless of who performs it.
This makes it possible not to build the company "around a person" and not to lose knowledge when someone leaves. In classic companies it is often "person = function". In Vymex, a person performs a function through a role.
The company structure in Vymex is a tree of roles in the "Company Structure" module: the CEO role at the top, roles of levels 2–4 below it, each reporting to its managing role.
Who changes the structure:
Changes are made in "Edit" mode as a draft and applied together with the "Save" button.
The structure determines who sees what: a manager opens the modules of roles below them in tabs and works in them with those roles' rights, while, for example, the budget is visible only down the branch.
The role stays in the structure together with its tasks, instructions, files, inventory and history. The new person continues from where their predecessor left off.
How it works:
A person can also "Leave the role" themselves — they then lose access to the role. All changes are visible in the role's "Performer change history".
If the role itself is removed from the structure, its resources are handed over to another role chosen when archiving.
The balance of resources changes every time roles, people, tasks, decisions or money change:
Vymex modules keep a history of changes: who did what, when and from which role. So you can see not only the company's current state but also how it is developing.
Yes. A person can hold several roles in one company or in different companies, and also be both an owner (vHold) and an employee (vHub) at the same time. The roles are visible on the profile home page, and you can switch between them in the bottom panel of vHub.
In the demo company Resto you are at once the owner, the CEO and the sous-chef — precisely to show this.
A manager sees the entire branch of roles below them. Using the "Add a role to view" button in the bottom panel (or from a role's card in "Company Structure"), they open a subordinate role's modules in a tab and work in them with that role's rights. The logs then show that the action was done "via the role".
A manager cannot open roles beside or above them in the structure this way.
They are not lost. When a role is archived, Vymex asks which role to hand its resources over to (by default, the managing role above):
If a person was working in the role, they are removed from it.
Starting to use Vymex means creating your profile and then working in roles: as a company owner (the vHold product) or as an employee in a role within its structure (the vHub product). One person can hold both roles, in the same company or in different ones.
What you get:
You can start with the Resto demo company: on the home page, click "Open demo" and see how a company is organized in Vymex, using a restaurant as an example. A résumé (vCV) and job search in Vymex companies are planned for later stages.
Sign up at app.vymex.com, in a browser on your computer or phone. There is no separate mobile app yet.
Done: you are on the home page of your profile. After that, you log in with your number and password, without SMS. If you forget your password, click "Forgot password?" and we will send a code to your number.
For extra protection, you can turn on two-factor authentication in "Profile Settings" → "Privacy and access": after the password, the system will ask for a code sent to your email.
After signing up, you can add your company or accept a role invitation from a company that already works in Vymex.
A phone number reliably tells one person from another, and it is harder to fake than creating a new email. That is why the number is the basis of a profile in Vymex.
We send an SMS code when we need to make sure the number is yours: when you sign up, forget your password or change your number, and for important actions, such as transferring a share or permanently deleting a company. A regular login has no SMS, only a password.
Email is used too: it receives the two-factor authentication code (if you turned it on) and important messages.
You can sign up with a number from any country except russia and belarus.
The head of a company in Vymex is the first-level role in the structure (called "CEO" by default). It has the most rights in vHub.
When creating a company, in the "Appoint a head" block you can:
After the company is created, the head is changed by the co-owners in vHold: "Corporate Settings" → "Company head" → the "…" menu → "Invite a person to the role". If there is one owner, the change takes effect right after the candidate agrees. If there are several co-owners, voting starts after the candidate agrees (this is a fundamental decision).
The head is a role, not a mark on an account: when another person takes it, the role and its resources stay in the company.
The invitation will appear on the home page of your profile in the "Roles where you are an employee" block, and you will get a notification about it in the notification center.
Click "Details" to open the "Vacancy" window: who is inviting you, to which role, brief information about the company and, unless the company has hidden it under an NDA, the role's salary plan and income and expense plan. Then choose "Ready to take the role" or "Decline".
After you agree, the manager appoints you to the role, and it appears on your home page. If you were sent an invitation link, just open it and log in: you will immediately become a candidate for the role.
You can limit who may offer you roles: "Profile Settings" → "Privacy and access" → "Offers".
An employee in Vymex always holds a specific role in the structure.
Invitations can be sent by the CEO, by roles with access to the structure and by managing roles within their own branch. To take a role yourself, use "Appoint myself to the role".
Everyone sees in the system only what concerns their role and the access granted to it.
A person becomes a co-owner when they receive a share of the company. This is done in vHold.
The person will see "You are offered X%" on their home page, review the "Co-ownership terms" and accept or decline the offer. Until they respond, you can cancel your offer.
There is another way, via "Share distribution" in "Corporate Settings": co-owners dilute shares by voting, a free share appears, and a separate voting offers it to a new person.
A share transfer in Vymex is an action inside the system. It is not a legal procedure and does not replace documents or agreements outside Vymex.
The company pays, not the people in it. Each company has its own balance in hryvnias: an advance payment for using Vymex.
Payment is managed in the "Billing" section of the vHub Control Center. By default, the CEO has it, and other roles get access if it is granted to them.
More about prices, bonus funds and AI tokens is in the billing section.
Yes. One person can hold roles in several companies, and even several roles in one company.
In Vymex, you do not "work at a company"; you hold roles in its structure. So:
In the Resto demo company, for example, you are both CEO and "Sous-chef", so you can see how this works.
Yes. You can be the owner or co-owner of as many companies as you need, with different shares.
Each company lives separately: its own co-owners, decisions, structure and balance. They are all on the home page of your profile in the "Your companies" block, and in vHold you switch between them in the bottom panel.
In each company, you separately see your share, the co-owners and votings, transfer shares and bring in new co-owners.
That's normal. Start like this:
In the bottom right corner there is the "Vymex Guide", a small chat that will walk you step by step through the main screens. You can bring it back via the avatar menu → "Knowledge Base". There is also a demo company there, where you can safely try everything.
If your role has no tasks or instructions yet, your manager is probably still preparing them. You can leave a question for your manager in a task comment by mentioning their role with "@". A messenger in Vymex is planned for later stages.
Vymex does not register legal entities. You add to the system a company that already exists or is only being planned, and you immediately build its structure.
You automatically receive a 100% share. The company balance will already have ₴500 in bonus funds, 50 GB of storage and 100K AI tokens for your first steps and tests.
Then you can create roles in "Company Structure", invite employees and co-owners, and plan the budget.
The demo company is a learning example: the Resto restaurant with a ready-made structure of 20 roles, tasks, instructions, budget, inventory and files. On the home page, click "Open demo" and the system will create your own copy, where you are the owner of 60% and the CEO.
In the demo you can try everything: change the structure, invite people, vote; the fictional people respond on their own. Hints will walk you through the main screens. "End demo" removes the company completely, and you can open it again at any time, also via the avatar menu → "Knowledge Base".
vHold is the space for owners: shares, co-owners, voting, the Corporate Agreement, the company head, suspending and deleting the company.
vHub is the space for employees: the role dashboard, "Company Structure", tasks, instructions, files, inventory, budget, improvements, the AI assistant and the Control Center.
If you are both a co-owner and hold a role, you have both; you switch between them in the bottom left corner.
Yes. A profile is free, and you can sign up without a company. Only the company pays: daily from its balance, based on the number of employees and the amount of storage. A new company receives ₴500 in bonus funds, so at first you can try everything without paying.
The Control Center holds the company settings in vHub. It opens with the slider button on the dashboard (next to "Create module") or as the last item of the "⋯" menu in the bottom panel.
Sections:
The CEO has access to all sections. Other roles can be given a section via "Access management" with the level "View", "Edit" or "Full access" (which can also grant access to others); for example, give "Billing" to the accountant.
In Vymex, responsibility is tied to a role. The person who holds a role is responsible for everything in it: tasks, instructions, files, inventory, income and expenses.
To delegate part of the work:
The manager still sees the work of the roles below: they open their modules in tabs and the tasks on their boards.
Example: you want to delegate marketing. You create a "Marketer" role, hand over tasks and files to it, plan the role's budget and invite a person.
This way, it is always clear who is responsible for what and where work has stalled.
In vHub, open "Company Structure" (a card on the dashboard or a module in the bottom panel). Everyone who has a role in the company can see it.
You will see:
Click a role to open its card: modules, the roles it manages and the access granted. Managing roles above also see the salary, the income and expense plan, and the history of changes in who held the role.
Changes are visible to everyone immediately. Branches can be collapsed and the zoom can be changed; on a phone, the structure is shown as a list by level.
Co-owners are not shown in the role structure; they are in vHold.
No. Only co-owners in vHold can suspend a company, because the company belongs to them.
If there is one owner, they suspend the company immediately. If there are several co-owners, one of them proposes "Suspend company", and voting decides (a fundamental decision: at least 75% of capital and 66% of participants must vote "for").
A head who wants to pause work can turn to the co-owners. If the head is a co-owner, they can propose suspension in vHold.
Suspension "freezes" the company: it stays in the system with all its data, but changes are unavailable.
You need it when the company is temporarily not operating, or you are deciding what to do next but do not want to lose anything. To resume work, use "Resume" in vHold, in the same way: one owner does it immediately, several co-owners by voting.
Suspension is also a required step before deletion.
It can be done, but only by co-owners in vHold and only in two steps:
If there is one owner, each step takes effect immediately. If there are several co-owners, both decisions go through voting (fundamental: at least 75% of capital and 66% of participants "for"), so one person cannot delete the company alone, even with a large share. All proposals and votes are visible in the company's votings.
"Delete permanently" requires you to confirm it is you: with a code sent by SMS to your number. This protects you in case someone sits down at your unlocked laptop.
After deletion, the company disappears for all co-owners and employees; instead, they see "This company no longer exists". It cannot be restored.
Open the Control Center section you need (or a module, or "Company Structure") and click "Access management" (the lock icon). Choose a role and a level:
The CEO has the "Owner" level in all sections. Granted access is visible in the "Access" section and in the role card. Access is granted to a role, not a person: if the person in the role changes, the access stays with the role.
Yes. A level 1–3 role without separate access can change everything below it: create roles (the "+" button in "Edit" mode), rename, move and archive them, and invite and appoint people in its branch. Roles alongside and above are view-only. The entire structure can be changed by the CEO and by roles with access to "Company Structure".
Changes in edit mode are a draft: they take effect after "Save".
Nothing is lost. When a role is archived, the system asks you to choose the role that will receive its resources (by default, the managing role above): tasks, files, instructions, improvements, income and expense items. Inventory goes to "Free" in "Company Inventory". The person in the role is removed from it and notified.
Yes. "Corporate Settings" → "Share distribution" → "Give up share". No voting is needed: the share becomes a free share, and the remaining co-owners decide whether to take it back in proportion to their shares or transfer it to a new person. A sole owner cannot leave this way; they need to transfer the share to another person or delete the company.
vHub is the Vymex product for employees. Everything in it is tied not to a person but to the role they hold in the company structure: everyone sees their own area of responsibility and has everything they need for work at hand.
What vHub includes:
One person can hold several roles in different companies: the role switcher in the bottom bar takes you to the role you need without mixing their data.
vHub is not a chat, a task manager or a collection of files, but a complete working environment for a role in a company.
When you hold a role in a company, vHub opens that role's dashboard. Here is what it contains:
If your role is at level 1–3, you can build out the structure below you: add roles and invite people to them. Roles that have subordinates also get the "Budget" module and the ability to view subordinate roles' modules in tabs.
Your responsibility is defined by the role you hold in the company structure. A role is a separate area where the system gathers everything related to this part of the company's balance of resources.
When you hold a role, its "Dashboard" shows:
There is no need to keep anything in your head or search through chats — everything is gathered in the role.
If a role is empty (no tasks or instructions), this is visible right away: you can contact the managing role or fill the role yourself if that is expected of you.
No. vHub does not rate people: performance is a subjective measure that depends heavily on context.
What vHub does:
The only rating in the system is the "Rating against the role's goals" for inventory items: it is about how useful an item is to the role, not about the person.
If a company needs its own evaluation tool, it can build one in the AI module builder ("Control Center" → "Modules"). Modules from third-party developers will come in later stages.
In Vymex, access is tied to the role, not the person. The person holding a role gets everything that belongs to that role; once they leave the role, access disappears immediately.
How it works:
What this gives you: you can see who has access to what and why; there is no accidental viewing of other people's data; access does not depend on who forwarded what to whom.
Expectations for a role are gathered in the role itself:
The income and expense plan and the salary are agreed by two sides: the person in the role and the managing role above. A change by one side takes effect only after the other clicks "Approve" (or proposes its own version via "Clarify").
If none of this is filled in, the role looks empty — which means expectations have not been set yet.
A deleted file, folder or document goes to "Deleted files" of its role ("Files" → "Deleted files") and stays there for 30 days, then disappears on its own. During this time it can be restored with one click.
Who else sees deleted items:
A role can delete a file for good before the 30 days are up, in its own "Deleted files". The company manager can turn this off ("Storage and files" → "Roles can delete files for good"): then deleted items are kept the full 30 days and only the manager can erase them earlier. An erased file cannot be recovered.
A new company gets 50 GB right away. Each 50 GB costs ₴4 per day — this amount is included in the daily charge to the company balance along with ₴8 for each employee.
How to change the amount:
What "Storage and files" shows: how much space is used — by file type and by role, including "System files" (attachments to tasks, instructions, inventory, images in texts). It also offers an export of all company data as a single ZIP archive.
When storage is full, new files cannot be uploaded until it is expanded or space is freed. One file can be up to 10 MB. How many days the balance will last is shown in the "Billing" section.
Currently the structure has up to four levels: the CEO role (level 1) and roles at levels 2–4. A level 4 role has no subordinates.
Depth does not matter to the Vymex logic: the structure works on the same principle no matter how many levels it has. The four-level limit is for the first stages, while the basic tools (tasks, budget, access, salaries) are being tested on real companies.
After successful tests, the number of levels will most likely increase with future updates.
Tasks in "Tasks" are distributed by role. Each task sits in exactly one list — on the board of the executing role.
Who can do what:
Handing a task over to another role is a request: the new role sees it in "Incoming" and accepts or declines it.
A task has a description, checklists, files, links, comments, a deadline with a reminder and a full "Activity" log. A task can only be deleted from the archive — so it is not lost by accident.
In vHub, resigning means leaving the role you hold.
How to leave a role:
Your managing role can also remove you: "⋮" → "Remove assignee from role".
If this was your only role, the company will disappear from your vHub. The role and its data remain in the company — another person can be invited to it. Your share in vHold (if any) does not change.
The company's manager can also leave the CEO role — then the co-owners choose a new manager in vHold.
Yes — a role can be archived. This is done in the "Edit" mode of "Company Structure" and saved with the "Save" button.
What happens when a role is archived:
An archived role can be restored, but it will come back empty: the handed-over resources stay with the role that received them. An archived role can also be removed with "Delete permanently" — it can still be restored for 48 hours.
Company settings are in the vHub "Control Center" (the button with sliders next to "Create module" on the dashboard, or the last item in the "⋯" menu). The CEO role has access to all sections; other roles are granted access separately.
Sections:
The company name, suspension, resumption and deletion are changed only by the co-owners in vHold.
In "Company Structure", open a vacant role and click "Invite assignee to role". You can find the person among Vymex users (from 3 letters of their name or nickname, or by phone number) or send an invitation link.
The person sees the offer on the Vymex home page: the company, the role, the salary plan (unless it has been hidden under an NDA), and clicks "Ready to take the role". After that, the managing role clicks "Assign".
Invitations can be sent by the CEO role, roles with access to "Company Structure", and managing roles — within their own branch.
The "AI" button in the bottom bar opens a chat with the assistant in the role you are currently acting in. It sees only what this role sees: the structure, tasks, instructions, files, improvements, inventory and budget — its own and those of roles below.
The assistant answers questions and prepares drafts: tasks, instructions, documents, improvements, inventory items, budget items, roles in the structure; it can transfer a table from a file. Nothing is saved until you click "Create" or "Apply".
The assistant does not delete anything and does not change access, people in roles, shares, money or votings. Each request uses the company's AI tokens.
If a company lacks a ready-made module, it can create one itself: "Control Center" → "Modules" → "Create module". You describe in the chat what you need (for example, tracking clients or requests) and can attach an Excel spreadsheet — the AI assembles the module from ready-made Vymex elements and can transfer the data from the spreadsheet.
After "Publish", the module appears in vHub for the CEO role and roles granted access, with the "View", "Edit" or "Full" level.
The builder is in beta; requests use the company's AI tokens.
A role's salary is planned in the role card in "Company Structure" → "⋮" → "Salary". It can be changed by the managing roles above; the person in the role sees their own salary; no one else sees it.
The salary consists of a monthly "Rate" (based on the company's work calendar or a shift schedule) and, if needed, "Per unit" pay. A change by one side is approved by the other — the person in the role or the manager.
The system calculates the actual salary itself: based on the days someone was in the role, taking vacations, sick leave and days off into account. This is a calculation for the budget, not the terms of payment — those are set by agreement within the company. The salary of the CEO role is planned by the co-owners in vHold.
Yes. A managing role can open any role below it in the structure in a tab: the "Add role to view" button in the bottom bar or a module tile in the role card in "Company Structure".
In the tab you work with that role's permissions — in its tasks, instructions, files and so on. The history shows that the action was taken by the manager "via the role". As soon as the structure changes and the role is no longer below you, the tab closes.
vHold is a separate product for people who own companies or shares in them.
It was created to make it easier to meet the basic needs in the role of co-owner, which arise in one way or another with the appearance of any company.
The nature of information and control for owners differs from other roles, so they need separate tools: shares, voting, the company manager, the Corporate Agreement, and suspending and deleting the company.
Shares in vHold show how the company is divided among co-owners. When creating a company, the founder receives 100%.
A share is the weight of a co-owner's vote in votings. The system calculates shares as exact fractions, so their sum is always exactly 100%.
Shares can be transferred to other Vymex users — the number of co-owners is unlimited. Besides people's shares, a company may have free shares (Not ID) — after share dilution or when a co-owner has given up their share. They are part of the total capital but do not vote.
Shares are shown in detail in "Corporate Settings" → "Share distribution".
No. vHold and other Vymex products are not connected to legal ownership registries or jurisdictions.
It is an internal management system for meeting owners' basic needs, and its records have no legal force. The legal registration of a share is handled separately, under the law of your country.
There are two ways.
Co-owners make decisions by voting in vHold. If there is only one owner, a decision applies immediately, without voting.
Voting uses a two-dimensional majority: "for" must reach both the required percentage of capital (weight = share) and the required percentage of participants. The thresholds depend on the class of decision:
The quorum is 50% of capital; those who have not voted by the deadline are not counted among participants. The initiator automatically votes "for". A voting ends early as soon as the outcome is clear.
These are the standard Vymex rules. If the co-owners enable the Corporate Agreement, the thresholds can be changed in it.
Owners are responsible for what determines the integrity and stability of the company as a system:
All of this happens in vHold.
The company manager chosen by the owners receives the CEO role in vHub and builds the role structure, tasks, instructions, budget — everything related to daily work.
Roughly speaking: the owners create and maintain the "container" in which the company exists, and the manager manages its contents.
Co-owners interact in vHold through decisions, not chats:
This way agreements are not lost, and everyone has the same understanding of the company's state.
There is no separate chat for co-owners yet — a Messenger is planned.
The Corporate Agreement is a set of rules for how co-owners interact, recorded in vHold. It is not a legal document, but the system applies its rules to votings and co-owners' rights.
The agreement is optional and disabled by default. While it is disabled, the standard Vymex rules apply (see "How are strategic decisions made?").
It can be enabled in "Corporate Settings" → "Corporate Agreement". With one owner — immediately; with several — by voting (a fundamental decision).
What can be configured in it:
There are two ways.
The person's participation history remains in the system. Roles in vHub do not change when someone stops being an owner. If a co-owner does not log in to Vymex for a year, their share also becomes free — with warnings 30, 7 and 1 day in advance.
On the vHold dashboard, a co-owner sees:
As such, a co-owner does not see tasks, instructions, files and other vHub data. To work inside the company, you need a role in its structure — for example, the company manager can also be a co-owner at the same time.
No. Suspending, resuming and deleting the company are decisions made only by the co-owners in vHold (fundamental: ≥75% of capital and ≥66% of participants). If there is only one owner, they do it themselves.
How it works:
This separation keeps the boundary between managing the company as an object (vHold) and daily work (vHub).
No. Owning a share is a voluntary right, and a share cannot be taken away by force, even by a collective voting.
A share passes to someone else only in these ways:
Share dilution reduces everyone's shares proportionally but does not deprive anyone of their share.
Vymex has no dedicated tools for finding investors. But there is a mechanism for bringing an investor into the company: share dilution. The co-owners allocate a free share by voting and, in a separate voting, transfer it to the investor — who accepts it on the Vymex home page after reviewing the "Co-ownership terms".
In addition, Vymex makes the company easier for an investor to understand:
Vymex is not a financial platform and does not record the investor's payment — money and legal registration are handled outside the system.
A Not ID is a share of the company that currently belongs to no one. It appears after share dilution, when a co-owner has given up their share, or when they have not logged in to Vymex for a year.
A Not ID is part of the total capital (thresholds and quorum are calculated from it), but it does not vote.
What can be done with it (by voting):
In Vymex, the company manager is the CEO role (level 1) in the vHub structure. In vHold: "Corporate Settings" → "Company manager" → "Invite assignee to role".
The chosen person first agrees, and then the co-owners vote (a fundamental decision). If there is only one owner, the person becomes the manager immediately after agreeing. There can be only one candidate at a time.
The name of the manager's role ("CEO" by default) is changed by voting as an ordinary decision.
The salary of the CEO role is planned by the co-owners in vHold: "Corporate Settings" → "Company manager" — an amount for each month within the budget years. Changes are made by voting (an important decision); with one owner — immediately.
The manager sees their salary in "Budget" and in their role card but cannot change it.
The company pays, not the people in it. Each company has its own balance in hryvnias.
You can top it up in the vHub product: "Control Center" → "Billing". This can be done by the CEO, as well as by any role that has been granted access to the "Billing" section.
A top-up is a prepayment (advance) for Vymex services. After that, the system automatically deducts the cost of each day of use from the balance.
The cost is calculated daily and has two parts:
For example, a one-person company pays ₴12 per day (8 + 4) — about ₴360 per month. The exact calculation for the current month is shown in "Billing".
AI features are paid for separately — with AI tokens, which are bought in packages (see the question about AI tokens).
We notify every company of price increases at least 14 days in advance — by notification and in the "Billing" section. If the new terms do not suit you, the unused remainder of paid funds can be refunded.
Each new person in a role adds ₴8 to the daily amount. If the person already works in another role in this company, the price does not change.
In "Control Center" → "Billing" you immediately see the new monthly calculation and how many days the current balance will last.
No. Each company in Vymex has its own balance and is topped up separately — in "Control Center" → "Billing" of its own vHub.
This is intentional: each company has its own structure, storage and roles, and its costs should be visible separately. Transfers between the balances of different companies are also impossible — the balance is an advance only for Vymex services for a specific company.
There is no classic free period. Instead, every new company receives:
Bonus funds are spent first, are not refunded as money and cannot be exchanged for money. For a one-person company they last about 40 days — enough to set up the structure, invite the team and understand whether Vymex is right for you.
To simply see how everything works, there is a free "Demo company" — the restaurant Resto with a ready-made structure and data (the "Open demo" button on the home page).
The system warns you in advance: when the balance will last 10 days or less, "Balance almost exhausted" appears in "Billing".
If the balance runs out:
Once the debt is paid, full access returns automatically. People's personal profiles are not deleted: they belong to the people, not to the company.
Yes. Bonus funds are credited to the company balance:
Planned: a referral program, bonuses for activity in the system and support for socially important projects. We will announce their launch in the system and on the website.
Bonus funds are not payment: they are spent first, are not refunded as money and cannot be used to buy AI tokens. Bonuses obtained through abuse (for example, several companies created by one person to get the bonus) may be cancelled.
Yes, and without any applications. In the "Billing" section, the CEO or a role with full access to "Billing" clicks "Refund unused funds".
The paid remainder is refunded by the bank automatically to the card used to top up the balance (for top-ups no older than 180 days). If the bank could not refund part of the amount, the Vymex team will refund it within 14 days.
Bonus funds and amounts already charged are not refunded. If bonus funds remain on the balance after the refund, the company can keep working on them.
Currently the balance is topped up by card (also Apple Pay / Google Pay) through the WayForPay payment service — the "Top up balance" button in the "Billing" section. Every top-up is shown in "Balance history".
The fiscal receipt is sent by the payment service to the email you entered on the payment page. Vymex does not issue separate invoices.
Payment by invoice and certificates of services rendered are planned. If your company needs this now, write to us via "Contact Vymex" (category "Payment").
Yes. If you top up the balance with an amount of at least the annual cost (the monthly calculation × 12 at the current number of people), you pay 10% less.
The full amount is credited to the balance: what you paid — as paid funds, the discount — as bonus funds. In the top-up window, the old amount is crossed out and the new one is shown next to it.
AI tokens are a balance, separate from money, for AI features: the AI assistant in vHub and the AI module builder. A new company receives 100,000 tokens.
You can buy more in "Billing" → "Buy more AI tokens":
You can pay by card or with paid funds from the balance (bonus funds cannot be used for tokens). The AI assistant uses tokens half as fast as the module builder. When the tokens run out, the AI features stop, while the rest of Vymex works as usual.
Soon. Automatic top-up with a saved card is already built into the system and is waiting for the payment service to enable card saving.
Once it works: during payment you will be able to save your card, and an "Automatic top-up" block will appear in "Billing". When the balance has fewer than the chosen number of days left, the system will top it up by the amount of the current month's costs. After three failed attempts in a row, automatic top-up turns off and the company receives a notification.
For now, the balance is topped up manually: "Control Center" → "Billing" → "Top up balance".
Other Vymex users see your first name, last name, nickname and photo — so that you can be found and invited to a company.
Your phone number is seen only by those you allow: everyone, colleagues only (people from the same companies) or no one. Your password, two-factor authentication email and login sessions are yours alone.
Inside a company, everyone sees it according to their role: for example, a role's tasks are seen only by that role, its managers higher up the structure and those who follow them, and a role's salary only by the person in it and the managing roles above.
Two-factor authentication and the list of login sessions are there as well.
A company can only invite you — after finding you by nickname, name or phone number (if it is allowed to see your number). No one can add you without your consent.
In "Profile Settings" → "Privacy and access" you can limit who can send you such offers at all: everyone, colleagues only or no one.
Identity verification (confirmation with documents) is planned for the next stages.
Yes, the history of changes is kept automatically and cannot be edited or deleted. For example:
If a person acted in the tab of another role, this is recorded too: "Name · via role "CEO"".
Vymex data is stored on servers in the European Union. If a country's law requires its users' data to be processed on its territory, we will host servers in that country for such users. All connections to the system are secured (https).
To make sure data is not lost:
A company's data can be exported as a single archive at any time: "Control Center" → "Storage and files" → "Data export".
In Vymex, access is granted to roles, not people. The levels are the same everywhere — in "Control Center" sections, modules, the budget, files and inventory:
A managing role sees and runs the work of the roles below it in the structure. Roles alongside and above see only what they have been granted access to.
Yes, on app.vymex.com. First, the CEO turns on "External AI" in "Control Center" → "System Settings" (off by default). Then a person adds Vymex as a connector in Claude or ChatGPT — the address and instructions are in "Profile Settings" → "Connected AI".
The AI acts only on behalf of the person's role (or roles below it in the structure) and sees only what that role sees. It can read data and perform simple actions: tasks, instructions, documents, inventory; plan and salary changes go for approval, just as when made manually.
The AI can never: change shares, voting, the agreement or the manager, delete the company, manage billing and the balance, access, passwords and sessions, assign people to or remove them from roles, or delete data permanently.
A connection can be disconnected at any time in "Connected AI", and the CEO can turn off external AI for the whole company with a single switch.
In "Profile Settings" → "Personal data" there is profile deletion. You need to enter your password (and the email code if two-factor authentication is on) and confirm.
After deletion, your roles are vacated, your shares in companies become free shares (the other co-owners decide on them), and a company where you are the sole owner is deleted. In company history you remain as "Deleted user".
We handle personal data according to international data protection rules. What exactly is kept after deletion, and for how long, is described in the Privacy Policy.
Vymex will develop to cover companies' basic needs more deeply and to expand people's career opportunities.
After vHold (for owners) and vHub (for employees), the plans include:
The product switcher already has a place for the next product — vRise (marked "soon").
Some of the work goes beyond the classic "company ↔ employee" model. Details are under NDA until key stages are delivered.
AI already works in Vymex:
AI features use AI tokens — a separate company balance (a new company receives 100K tokens, then packages in "Billing").
Next stages: AI agents inside the company and a more deeply trained assistant.
The main problem of AI in business is that there is no standard for what a company is as an object and what it consists of. Vymex is the world's first system that describes a company in a structured way — through roles and the balance of resources — so the AI works with the company's real structure rather than just giving "hints".
The commercial version runs on app.vymex.com. The current stage is "Early Access" (v0.6). Next come "Commercial Beta" (v0.8) and "Commercial Full" (v1.0).
The system status is visible in Vymex itself: click the blue "Early Access" tab near the left edge of the screen — the "Vymex system status" window opens, showing what exists now and what is planned for each stage.
Plans before version 1.0:
We are deliberately building a new logic rather than updating an existing system — which is why updates come out often and bugs are fixed quickly.
Open your avatar menu (on the right of the panel) → "Contact Vymex" → choose the "Suggestion" category and describe your idea. You can attach up to 5 files (screenshots, diagrams).
All your requests are shown in the "My requests" tab: their status and correspondence with the team. When we reply, you will get a notification.
The team reviews every suggestion; those that support the development of the system are added to the plan.
Partly — already now:
Planned: modules from third-party developers via the platform API (in the "Modules" section this is the "Integrated" zone, marked "Coming soon") and integrations for project activity.
There are no separate apps for iOS and Android yet — they are planned for the "Commercial Full" stage (v1.0).
Vymex already works in a phone browser: the screens are adapted to narrow displays (for example, on a phone the company structure is a list by levels).
Currently the interface is in Ukrainian only. English and 5 more languages are planned before the "Commercial Full" stage (v1.0). In "Profile Settings" → "Localization", other languages are already marked "soon".
When an update is released, a "Vymex update available" bar appears at the top with an "Update" button — you can expand a short list of changes, "What's new", in it. The full list of changes by day is in "Profile Settings" → "Updates".
We want Vymex to be clear without support, so first try:
If you still have a question: avatar menu → "Contact Vymex". Choose a category (question, bug, suggestion, billing, complaint, etc.), describe the situation and, if needed, attach up to 5 files. The form automatically adds which page and company you are writing from.
The reply arrives as a notification, and the whole conversation is in the "My requests" tab of the same window. You can reply there too.
For in-depth help with setting up your company, choose the "Vymex Consulting" category.
Vymex is evolving very quickly: the interface and features change based on user feedback. Text manuals of the "click here" kind would be outdated within a week.
So instead:
We also explain the purpose of each module and the logic of working in the system — that does not go out of date with updates.
Thank you — every bug found makes Vymex better.
Avatar menu → "Contact Vymex" → "Report a bug". Specify where exactly (Vymex, vHub, vHold, the website), describe what happened and attach a screenshot — that way we will fix it faster.
If a screen breaks and you see "Something went wrong", click "Report to Vymex" — the request will open already containing the page address and a description of the error.
If you forgot your password:
If two-factor authentication is enabled, after the password you also need a code that will be sent to your email. That means signing in requires both your phone and your email — this is how your profile and the companies where you have roles are protected.
5 wrong passwords in a row block sign-in for that number for 15 minutes — this is protection against password guessing.
If you have access to neither your number nor your email, write to us through the "Contact Vymex" form on vymex.com, and we will help you restore access.
No one can make you an employee or a co-owner without your consent: an offer appears on your home page, which you accept or decline ("Decline").
If you accepted by mistake:
To stop such offers from strangers: "Profile Settings" → "Privacy and access". There you choose separately who sees your number, who can offer you a role and who can offer you a share: "Everyone", "Colleagues only" or "No one".
We accept all proposals through the avatar menu → "Contact Vymex". For partners and media there are separate categories: "Partnership", "Legal questions", "Investing in Vymex", "Vymex Consulting", "Marketing, media and PR". Describe the essence and attach a file if needed.
The team sees and handles every request; you will see the reply in "My requests".
For legal questions, use the "Legal questions" category in the same form. Without signing in to the system, write through the "Contact Vymex" form on vymex.com.
"Profile Settings" → "Personal data" → "Delete profile". Then:
What will happen:
It is a small chat in the bottom right corner that walks you through the essentials: creating a company, vHold, a role in vHub, the structure, tasks, the Control Center, billing, your profile. It highlights the button you need and moves on by itself once you have done the action; any step can be skipped.
When collapsed, the guide is a round button in the corner: "Continue where you left off" or "Start from the beginning". If you have hidden it, bring it back via the avatar menu → "Knowledge Base" → "Vymex Guide".
This is how the system tells you that the internet connection has dropped or the server is temporarily not responding. You do not need to do anything: as soon as the connection returns, "Connection restored" will appear and work will continue. If the message does not go away for a long time, check your internet and refresh the page.
Vymex's goals are not only growth in users and revenue, but an impact on the global norm of efficiency of the business environment. Today it looks like this:
3.6 billion people in 210 million companies worldwide work within this norm.
These are estimates gathered from many studies. No one has exact statistics: a significant share of new companies close even before official registration, so banking and government systems simply do not see them.
Vymex's 10-year goal is to become the cause of improving this norm by at least 10%.
Commercial goals through 2031:
From November 2020 to May 2021, the team prepared the architecture and calculations for a launch in three languages at once — for the global market via mobile apps. Full-scale development, one of whose goals was to completely eliminate the consulting component, began in May 2021. The plan was 19 months to profitability.
The full-scale war changed everything: from 45 people (44.9 full-time equivalents) at the start of 2022, the team gradually shrank, and by October 2022 two full-time positions remained — to preserve the company's basic functions and focus on R&D.
At the end of 2023, work on the design resumed, and in 2024 a new design and plan were approved. In January 2025 we raised funds, and from March 2025 we resumed active development — now of the web version. Actual development lasted 5 months: by September 2025 we could barely pay for it — we failed to raise the remaining $50K of the funds promised by an investor, the team switched to part-time work, and by October 2025 development had stopped completely.
Since October 2025, the system has been maintained and developed by two people — the founder and the mathematician; the rest of the team and the advisors join when needed. The beta that works today was built with the help of AI.
In October 2026 we launched the commercial version at app.vymex.com — it is now at the "Early Access" stage.
Since its founding, about $1.3 million (more precisely, $1.293 million) has been raised and spent. In addition, a significant amount of personal funds has been invested, which is not included in this sum. This covers not only development but everything the company has done over this time: R&D, the team, testing, the launch.
In 2022, the plan for the first commercial version called for $1.8 million, of which about 60% was realized.
The full-scale war changed the priorities of most of the investors we were negotiating with. To save the company, we released a stripped-down non-commercial beta version in emergency mode — for a third of the planned costs and within 3 months — to show the market what we were working on.
In October 2022, when the balance could no longer bear the load, we cut the team as much as possible, temporarily stopped development and moved to new strategies.
From March 2023 to January 2025 we kept the company going at a basic level — solely through small investments ($2,500–7,000 a month). This was enough for R&D, a new design and updated calculations.
In January 2025 we raised $187K to resume development and prepare a commercial web version. Actual development lasted 5 months: by September 2025 we could barely pay for it — we failed to raise the remaining $50K of the funds promised by an investor, the team switched to part-time work, and by October 2025 development had stopped completely. Since then the system has been developed by two people, and the beta was built with the help of AI.
In the first stage, Vymex raised private investment from Ukrainian entrepreneurs — to preserve its Ukrainian identity and independence of decision-making during a critical formative period. Those who share the system's goals and understand the value of a long-term transformation of the business environment became co-owners. There are now more than 40 of them.
We will fund the transition from "Early Access" to "Commercial Beta" with a round from private investors from Ukraine. For the "Commercial Full" version, we will bring in funds and institutional investors — to enter the global market while preserving our values and control over the quality of the system.
After the full-scale invasion began in 2022, we stopped development of the full version and released a limited non-commercial beta to preserve the company's goals and show the market the direction of our work.
Everything created up to that point was archived, documented and preserved. This work became the foundation of the new architecture that we implemented in 2025–2026, taking into account our experience and adjusted goals.
All investments raised before the start of the full-scale war were used in line with the roadmap at the time.
Before the full-scale invasion began, we had raised about $1.019 million of the roughly $1.8 million planned. The rest of the round — almost $800K, which was supposed to fund the launch and the path to profitability — could no longer be obtained.
In 2022 we managed to raise only about $70K. It allowed us to release a reduced non-commercial beta and to downsize the team safely, preserving basic functions and R&D.
Yes.
The exact size of the rounds will be known after the second stage is completed. We are currently recalculating the next stages: the beta, built with the help of AI, has significantly changed the calculations.
Current offers for investors are available on request: avatar menu → "Contact Vymex" → "Investing in Vymex", or the "Contact Vymex" form on vymex.com.
Vymex will scale in several directions:
Vymex is a Ukrainian company: VYMEX IT LLC, EDRPOU code 44576125. The core team, culture and strategic focus are in Ukraine.
We plan to have a legal presence in several jurisdictions to spread risk, make it easier to work with users from other countries and comply with local legal requirements.
The idea of Vymex arose in 2018, when Ruslan Yumahulov was working as a consultant on a project. That is when the understanding came: every company is a set of roles, and every role is resources, processes and metrics that can be structured through tools.
Over the next three years, the model was tested in real companies in a consulting format. It was the integration of solutions and the building of the logic of structures that became the foundation of the system.
In 2020 the model took a semi-template form, and Oleksandr Kolesnik, a teacher of olympiad mathematics at one of Ukraine's leading universities, joined the team. He helped structure the theory, describe the principles and prepare prototypes for the first stage of development in 2021.
Yes. Register at app.vymex.com and click "Open demo" in the "Demo company" card on the home page. You will get your own copy of the Resto restaurant: in it you are a 60% owner and the CEO, and there are 20 roles, tasks, instructions, a budget and inventory. Hints will walk you through the essentials. "End demo" removes everything that was in the demo.
Yes. A company in which a Vymex co-owner holds more than 50% gets the Vymex investor discount — 30% on every balance top-up, both manual and automatic.
How it works: you pay 70% of the amount, and the remaining 30% is credited to the balance as bonus funds labeled "Vymex investor discount 30%". The system recognizes a co-owner by their phone number, even if they register later.
Conditions:
You can become a Vymex co-owner within investment rounds — write via the avatar menu → "Contact Vymex" → "Investing in Vymex".
