How do roles form the company structure?

The company structure in Vymex is a tree of roles in the "Company Structure" module: the CEO role at the top, roles of levels 2–4 below it, each reporting to its managing role.

Who changes the structure:

  • the CEO and roles with access to "Company Structure" — all of it;
  • a managing role — only its own branch (the roles below it);
  • everyone who has a role in the company can see the structure.

Changes are made in "Edit" mode as a draft and applied together with the "Save" button.

The structure determines who sees what: a manager opens the modules of roles below them in tabs and works in them with those roles' rights, while, for example, the budget is visible only down the branch.
