How is access to resources and information distributed?
In Vymex, access is tied to the role, not the person. The person holding a role gets everything that belongs to that role; once they leave the role, access disappears immediately.
How it works:
- Each role has its own tasks, files, instructions, inventory and improvements.
- Managing roles see and change what belongs to roles below them in the structure: subordinates' task boards, their improvements, the budget of their branch. A subordinate role's modules can be opened in a tab and worked in with that role's permissions.
- Roles alongside and above are not accessible.
- Access can also be granted separately to another role: to a "Control Center" section, a folder or file, an inventory category, a branch budget, or a company module. The levels are "Full" (can also grant access to others), "Edit" and "View". The CEO role is the "Owner" of all sections.
What this gives you: you can see who has access to what and why; there is no accidental viewing of other people's data; access does not depend on who forwarded what to whom.
