How do tasks work in the system?
Tasks in "Tasks" are distributed by role. Each task sits in exactly one list — on the board of the executing role.
Who can do what:
- the executing role and all managing roles above it in the structure can change the task;
- a manager opens subordinate roles' boards and creates tasks there;
- other roles can be added via "Add to tracking" — they see the task, comment and receive notifications; an @Role mention in a comment also adds the role to tracking;
- no one else sees the task.
Handing a task over to another role is a request: the new role sees it in "Incoming" and accepts or declines it.
A task has a description, checklists, files, links, comments, a deadline with a reminder and a full "Activity" log. A task can only be deleted from the archive — so it is not lost by accident.
