How do I appoint the head of a company?
The head of a company in Vymex is the first-level role in the structure (called "CEO" by default). It has the most rights in vHub.
When creating a company, in the "Appoint a head" block you can:
- appoint yourself;
- choose another Vymex user: the company will be created without a head, the person will receive an invitation and take the role as soon as they agree;
- choose "Do not appoint" and pick a head later.
After the company is created, the head is changed by the co-owners in vHold: "Corporate Settings" → "Company head" → the "…" menu → "Invite a person to the role". If there is one owner, the change takes effect right after the candidate agrees. If there are several co-owners, voting starts after the candidate agrees (this is a fundamental decision).
The head is a role, not a mark on an account: when another person takes it, the role and its resources stay in the company.
